The non-profit association AggiZoo of Kozani was founded in 2011 and in difficult times. After many efforts, mainly isolated, for the strays of the Municipality of Kozani that are constantly increasing, a group of people who until now made an individual effort decided to become active in the city of Kozani and establish the AggiZoo.
The association is self-funded and maintained only by the members themselves and by donations from animal lovers and friends who appreciate what we do and understand the problem. Work also needs to be done to raise awareness because strays come 80% from infertile privately owned animals and are abandoned outside after birth.
