The Animal Welfare Association of Preveza officially counts 11 years of life.
We met a group of people in 2000 and we formed informally in the beginning, hosting in our homes stray animals that were in an unfavorable position either from road accidents or poisoning. We continued with our own resources a program of sterilizations and then adoptions.
