The Animal Welfare Association of Kalamata is a recognized animal welfare association since 1996. According to its statutes, it is active in the field of collection, rescue and care of stray animals of the Municipality of Kalamata and beyond.
Every year it treats, feeds, vaccinates, neuters and promotes for adoption about 500 stray animals (mainly dogs and cats). It is a non-profit association and bases its operation on the contributions of its members and the contributions of third parties. An association consisting exclusively of volunteers. That’s why even 1€ is useful for animal care.
The aim of our association is… “One home and one family for every stray” and “To learn to live with all the creatures around us. This world is theirs too!”
